I keep telling myself, don't panic, Daryl Morey has it under control.
Yao gets hurt, it's ok, Morey will figure something out.
Gortat signs with Dallas, not a big deal, Joey Dorsey is healthy.
Rockets offer Ron Artest a one-year deal, ok lets see where this goes.
Now, Lakers have agreed to a three-year deal with Artest. It hurts to think about it.
On one hand, we won't see the over-dribbling, shot launching overrated defender on this Rockets team, but the hated Lakers now have Artest. Go east Ron, EAST!!
Now news has come out the Rockets have offered Trevor Ariza the mid-level exception. Sigh...$5 million plus to a guy that was made look like a budding star. The guy can't get his own shot, shakey shooter at best and when someone's in his face (ala Shane Battier or Artest) has a poor game/series.
It's more likely now that the Rockets push for Ricky Rubio. Les Alexander and Co. need to stock up for the future and Rubio is where the Rockets should be looking to start.
Let's just hope it's not five years before we mutter the word 'playoff' in this city again.
