Sleepy but don't want to sleep
I'm a little tired...but for some reason don't feel like sleeping. Maybe it's the iced coffee I had a free hours ago, that stuff is addicting.
Anyway, Rockets play game five tomorrow at the Rose Garden. I expect a very close game. Portland came out of the half in game four with tremendous intensity and I expect them to play with the same intensity at the start of game five.
If the Rockets can keep the game close and weather whatever the Blazers throw at them, they should be fine.
After a few rough games, I'm expecting a more aggressive Aaron Brooks. Going into the series, I expected Brooks to have a tremendous series, but after two 20-point outings, Brooks hasn't really done much at home. He needs to be taking more than five shots, which he did in game five.
Some random blurbs about our shows:
- We will have Texans general manager Rick Smith on Sunday, so tune in for that.
- Trying to get Texans tight end James Casey for The Front Page...will let you guys know how that goes.
- Trying to get a special guest, that Fred will LOVE for The Main Event on Monday.
- Matt will be in Las Vegas, so Jerome Solomon will guest host with Fred Faour on The Front Page Sunday.
I guess I'll head to bed...

4/26/09 Blazers @ Rockets End of 3rd
Rockets really need to match the Blazers intensity. Blazers made good adjustments at the half, Rockets need to do the same in the fourth.
4/26/09 Blazers @ Rockets
Rockets up only six - 50-44. It seems like the Rockets should be up more. Portland, though shooting 47 percent, hasn't played played well. Rockets need to come out and step on their neck.
Texans Draft
I love what the Texans did for the first four picks. What puzzles me a little bit is drafting tight end Anthony Hill from NC State and then in the fifth round taking tight end James Casey from Rice.
I thought the Texans would look at Casey with that 22nd pick in the fourth round, but went Hill instead.
I imagine Casey will play multiple positions. He can play full back, can play in a wildcat formation and tight end - very versatile player.
With Javon Ringer (Running back from Michigan State) out there, I thought the Texans would go there.

4/5/09 Blazers @ Rockets End of 1st
Both teams come out a little slow but picked up the scoring throughout the quarter.
Rockets up 31-25. Luis Scola is in foul trouble and you would think that would hinder the offense, but the Rockets are finding the open space and making great decisions with the ball.
Chuck Hayes is playing great defense on LaMarcus Aldridge, ripping him of the ball a few times and putting a hand in his face every time he shoots the ball.
